Mushroom Smothered Veal Cutlets Recipe coats veal cutlets with egg and bread crumbs then fries until golden brown before smothering with condensed cream of mushroom soup to finish cooking this delicious veal cutlet recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
4 veal cutlets
|
1 egg
|
2 tablespoons water
|
1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
|
3 tablespoons shortening
|
2 cans (2 1/2 cups) condensed cream of mushroom soup
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Wipe cutlets dry. Combine egg and
water; beat lightly. Dip pieces of meat
first in egg mixture, then in breadcrumbs
|

2:
Brown cutlets on both sides in shortening
in a heavy skillet. Pour soup over cutlets; cover and cook slowly for about 30 minutes or until done. Serve on a warm platter. Serves 4.
