Jiffy Rissotto Recipe sautees chopped onion and garlic in olive oil then adds rice and cooks on low temp before adding bouillon and tomato paste and serves with grated Italian-style cheese to create a deliciously tasty rissotto dish.

INGREDIENTS
|
2 tablespoons chopped onion
|
1 clove garlic, minced
|
4 tablespoons olive or cooking oil
|
1/2 cup rice
|
1 can condensed bouillon
|
4 tablespoons tomato paste
|
Grated Italian-type cheese
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Cook onion and garlic in olive oil
until soft and slightly browned.

2:
Add rice to garlic and oil. Cook over
low heat, stirring constantly, 10 minutes.
|
|
3:
Heat bouillon, properly diluted, and
add with the tomato paste, a small
amount at a time as required, until
rice is done. Stir with fork to prevent
sticking. Then turn heat low, cover
pan and let rice steam dry. Serve with
cheese.
