Ground Beef Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ground Beef Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe cooks fresh corn, ground beef, onions and salt and pepper then stuffs green peppers with the mixture before baking to create a very flavorful and delicious stuffed pepper dish.

INGREDIENTS
|
6 fresh green peppers
|
6 ears of fresh corn
|
1 lb. ground beef
|
1/4 c. chopped fresh onion
|
Salt and pepper to taste
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Cut tops from the green peppers and remove seeds and membranes. Cook in
boiling, salted water until partially done, then drain.

Cut the corn from cobs and
place in a skillet. Add 1/2 cup water and cook over low heat, stirring frequently,
until water has evaporated.

3:
Add the ground beef, onion, salt and pepper and
cook until beef is brown, stirring occasionally. Stuff the green peppers with corn
mixture and place in a baking pan.

4:
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Green peppers may be stuffed with other mixtures, if desired.
