Curry Tossed Salad

Curry Tossed Salad Recipe creates a delicious salad dressing using beef gravy base, mayonnaise, garlic, curry powder, Worcestershire Sauce and pepper sauce which crowns a salad of salad greens, spinach, artichoke hearts and sliced radishes.


INGREDIENTS
For the Dressing:
1/2 teaspoon beef-flavored gravy base
1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
6 to 8 drops bottled hot pepper sauce
For the Salad:
6 cups torn mixed salad greens
4 cups torn fresh spinach
1 16-ounce can artichoke hearts, chilled, drained, and halved
1/4 cup sliced radishes


DIRECTIONS
1: For dressing, dissolve gravy base in 1/4 cup hot water; blend into mayonnaise. Stir in garlic, curry, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce. Chill.
 
2: Combine remaining ingredients in large salad bowl. Toss lettuce mixture lightly with dressing.
