Deep Dish Pepperoni Pizza

Deep Dish Pepperoni Pizza Recipe creates a made from scratch delicious deep dish pizza using mozzarella cheese, sliced olives, pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, deep dish pizza dough and tomato mushroom sauce.

INGREDIENTS
|
4 cups (1 lb) shredded
mozzarella cheese
|
1 can (2 1/4 oz) sliced ripe
olives, well drained
|
2 1/2 cups (about 1/2 lb)
thinly sliced pepperoni
|
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
|
Deep Dish Pizza Dough (search recipes)
|
Tomato Mushroom Sauce (search recipes)
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Prepare Deep-Dish Pizza Dough
and let it rise. While dough rises, make Tomato Mushroom Sauce, then set it aside.

Preheat oven to 450° F. Grease a
14-inch deep-dish pizza pan (about 2
inches deep). Roll dough out on a
floured surface to about a 14-inch
circle. Use your hands to pat
and stretch dough to fit into pan,
pressing it against sides of pan to
reach top edge.

Sprinkle half the mozzarella
cheese over bottom of dough. Add
olives in an even layer, then pepperoni.
Spread evenly with sauce. Cover
with remaining mozzarella cheese,
then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Bake on lowest rack of oven until
crust browns well and cheese is richly
browned (25 to 30 minutes). Cut
into wedges and serve at once.
