Potluck Spareribs Recipe

Potluck Spareribs Recipe uses spareribs, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, mustard, garlic, and salt and pepper in baking this delicious rib recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
6 pounds pork spareribs
|
1 1/2 cups ketchup
|
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
|
1/2 cup white vinegar
|
1/2 cup honey
|
1/3 cup soy sauce
|
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
|
1 teaspoon salt
|
3/4 teaspoon ground mustard
|
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
|
1/4 teaspoon pepper
|

DIRECTIONS
|

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cut the ribs into serving-sized pieces. Place the ribs, meat side up, on racks in 2 greased 9x13-inch baking pans. Cover the pans tightly with foil. Bake the ribs until tender and cooked to 145 degrees F, about 1 hour 15 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, honey, soy sauce, ground ginger, salt, ground mustard, garlic powder, and pepper.

Baste the sauce mixture over the ribs.

Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, until the sauce coats and clings to the ribs, basting occasionally, about 30-40 minutes. The ribs are done with an internal temperature of 195°F to 203°F. The ribs can also be grilled over medium-hot heat for the last 30-40 minutes instead of baking. Serve.
