Spareribs Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Spareribs Barbecue Sauce Recipe combines ketchup, brown sugar, white vinegar, honey, soy sauce, ground ginger, salt, ground mustard, garlic powder, and pepper to create this outstanding barbecue sauce.


INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups ketchup
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper


DIRECTIONS
1: Place each ingredient into a large bowl, stirring to mix well with each addition.
 
2: After last addition, set sauce aside for 30 to allow ingredients to meld well.
 
3: Pour sauce to be used for basting into a separate bowl. Bast ribs from just one bowl.
 
4: Any unused or left over sauce (which has not been contaminated by the basting tool) may be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for later use.
