Venison A La Mushroom

Venison A La Mushroom Recipe fries venison slices dusted with flour seasoned with salt and pepper and meat tenderizer in oil until tender then covers with mushroom gravy and bakes creating this very tasty venison recipe.


INGREDIENTS
1 to 2 lb. sliced venison
salt and pepper to taste
meat tenderizer
2 jars mushroom gravy
cooking oil
flour


DIRECTIONS
1: Venison should be sliced approximately 1/2 inch thick.
 
2: Mix flour, salt, pepper and meat tenderizer; coat venison slices with flour mixture.
 
3: Fry venison in oil until tender. Placed cooked venison in casserole dish with cover.
 
4: Pour gravy over venison. Heat in 150°F oven for about 2 hours. This gives the gravy a chance to soak into the meat.
