by:    Joan Joiner

Ranch Salad Dressing Recipe has a great taste and is better than store bought. This recipe makes 1 gallon of dressing. Reduce liquid by same reduction in spices for a smaller amount to create this delicious ranch dressing recipe.

INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley
2 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
2 1/2 tablespoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder (not garlic salt and not garlic with parsley)
1/2 gal buttermilk
1/2 gal mayonnaise

DIRECTIONS
1: Pour enough buttermilk in to the bottom of a blender bowl to have about 4" of buttermilk. Put all ingredients, except the mayo and remaining buttermilk into the blender. Blend until just small specks of the spices are visible.

2: Pour the contents of the blender into a LARGE bowl.

3: Use the remaining buttermilk to wash the spice/buttermilk mixture out of the blender and into the bowl. Pour any remaining buttermilk into the bowl.

4: Whisk or mix in the 1/2 gal mayo until all mayo is dissolved into the buttermilk mixture.
