New York Style Pizza Sauce

Peeled tomatoes, pizza sauce, oregano, basil, marjoram, garlic salt and cayenne pepper are combined and simmered to create an authentic tasting New York style pizza sauce.

INGREDIENTS

2 cans (14.5 oz) Roma or Furmano's Whole Peeled Tomatoes
|
|
1 can (14.5 oz) Roma or Furmano's Pizza Sauce
|
|
1/4 tsp dried oregano, crushed
|
|
1/4 tsp dried basil, crushed
|
|
1/4 tsp dried marjoram, crushed
|
|
1/2 tsp garlic salt
|
|
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
|
1:
Combine the ingredients in a sauce pan, over medium heat stirring frequently, and cook into a smooth sauce.

Cool to room temperature before applying to pizza.
