Apricot Ham Glaze2

Apricot Ham Glaze Recipe uses dried apricots, apple cider, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, allspice, and cloves which combine to make a wonderfully tasty ham glaze.


INGREDIENTS
1 1/3 cups apple cider
8 ounces dried apricots
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves


DIRECTIONS
1: Pour cider over apricots in a bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight.
 
2: Puree apricot mixture in an electric blender or force through a food mill. Stir in a mixture of the remaining ingredients.
 
3: Spread ham generously with mixture before heating. Heat remaining sauce and serve as an accompaniment to the ham.
