Apricot Ham Glaze2

Apricot Ham Glaze Recipe uses dried apricots, apple cider, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, allspice, and cloves which combine to make a wonderfully tasty ham glaze.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 1/3 cups apple cider
|
8 ounces dried apricots
|
6 tablespoons brown sugar
|
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
|
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
|
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Pour cider over apricots in a bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight.
|
|
2:
Puree apricot mixture in an electric blender or force through a food mill. Stir in a mixture of the remaining ingredients.
|
|
3:
Spread ham generously with mixture before heating. Heat remaining sauce and serve as an
accompaniment to the ham.
