Beet Relish

Beet Relish Recipe makes a beet relish which is delicious on meat or vegetables by grating whole beets and adding prepared horseradish, sugar, vinegar, grated onion, salt and pepper and chilling.

INGREDIENTS

1 can (16 ounces) whole
beets, drained
|
1/4 cup prepared horseradish
|
1/4 cup sugar
|
1/4 cup vinegar
|
1/4 cup water
|
1 tablespoon grated onion
|
1 teaspoon salt
|
1/8 teaspoon pepper
|
|
|

|
|
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Grate or mince beets.
|
|
2:
In casserole or other container with a cover, mix beets with remaining ingredients. Cover.
|
|
3:
Store in refrigerator for at least 1 day before serving.
