Beet Relish

Beet Relish Recipe makes a beet relish which is delicious on meat or vegetables by grating whole beets and adding prepared horseradish, sugar, vinegar, grated onion, salt and pepper and chilling.


INGREDIENTS
1 can (16 ounces) whole beets, drained
1/4 cup prepared horseradish
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon grated onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper


DIRECTIONS
1: Grate or mince beets.
 
2: In casserole or other container with a cover, mix beets with remaining ingredients. Cover.
 
3: Store in refrigerator for at least 1 day before serving.
