Cabbage Casserole

Cabbage Casserole Recipe uses cabbage, carrots, chicken stock, peppercorns, can corn, soy sauce and hard-boiled eggs to create a delicious and verty tasty cabbage casserole.


INGREDIENTS
1 small head of cabbage (1 pound)
2 carrots
1 1/2 cup chicken stock or broth
5 peppercorns
1 (1 pound) can of corn, drained
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons soy sauce
4 hard-boiled eggs


DIRECTIONS
1: Remove wilted leaves and cut the cabbage in strips. Pare the carrots and cut in slices.
 
2: Bring the chicken stock and peppercorns to a boil.
 
3: Add the cabbage and the carrots and boil, partially covered, for 15 minutes
 
4: Add the corn and simmer until hot, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and soy sauce. Serve with egg halves. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
