Cabbage Casserole

Cabbage Casserole Recipe uses cabbage, carrots, chicken stock, peppercorns, can corn, soy sauce and hard-boiled eggs to create a delicious and verty tasty cabbage casserole.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 small head of cabbage (1 pound)
|
2 carrots
|
1 1/2 cup chicken stock or broth
|
5 peppercorns
|
1 (1 pound) can of corn, drained
|
1/2 teaspoon salt
|
2 teaspoons soy sauce
|
4 hard-boiled eggs
|
|

|
|
|
|
|

|
DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Remove wilted leaves and cut the cabbage in strips. Pare the carrots and cut in slices.

Bring the chicken stock and peppercorns to a boil.
|
|
3:
Add the cabbage and the carrots and boil, partially covered, for 15 minutes
|
|
4:
Add the corn and simmer until hot, about 5 minutes.
Season with salt and soy sauce. Serve with egg halves. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
