Brussels Sprouts and Grapes Recipe contrasts Brussels sprouts with grapes and uses complementary ingredients of beer, clarified butter, white pepper, and snipped parsley to further emphasize their great taste.


INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds fresh Brussels sprouts, cut in half
1 1/2 cups beer
2 teaspoons clarified butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
1 cup seedless white grapes
Snipped parsley


DIRECTIONS
1: Simmer Brussels sprouts in beer in covered saucepan until tender (about 8 minutes); drain.
 
2: Drizzle butter over sprouts; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add grapes; heat thoroughly. Sprinkle with parsley.
