Processor Pizza Dough Recipe

Processor Pizza Dough Recipe uses flour, salt, honey, yeast and olive oil in producing this absolutely delicious pizza dough recipe.


INGREDIENTS
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup warm water (95° - 115°F)
2 packets active dry yeast
2 Tbl. honey
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt


DIRECTIONS
1: Dissolve honey in warm water. Add salt and stir to dissolve. Add yeast and set yeast mixture aside to proof.
 
2: After about 5 minutes, the yeast mixture should be bubbly and frothy. Pour yeast mixture into food processor bowl.
 
3: Add 1 cup flour to bowl and pulse four or five times to mix. Add olive oil and mix until blended (no olive oil on top of flour mixture). Add remaining flour. Process until dough forms a ball. If dough does not form a ball and appears dry, add water one tablespoonful at a time until a ball is formed. If ball is not formed because dough is too wet, gradually add flour until ball forms.
 
4: Turn dough out onto a floured board. Knead dough for about 2 minutes. Place dough into bowl and cover in warm, dry area to rise. After 45 minutes, dough will be about double in size. Turn out onto floured board again. Knead about 30 seconds and return to bowl and cover to rise again. After about an hour the dough is ready to roll out.
