Potluck Beef Meatballs

Potluck Beef Meatballs Recipe are not the everyday meatballs we encounter using ground beef, egg, milk, bread crumbs, onion, parsley, walnuts, chili con carne seasoning then frying and serving with spicy ketchup dip in this tasty meatball recipe.

INGREDIENTS

1 pound ground beef (chuck
or round)
|
1 egg, beaten
|
1/2 cup milk
|
1 cup fine soft bread crumbs
|
1 tablespoon instant minced
onion
|
1 tablespoon minced parsley
|
3/4 cup finely chopped
toasted walnuts
|
1 teaspoon chili con carne
seasoning
|
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
|
1/8 teaspoon seasoned pepper
|
1 tablespoon cooking oil
|
Spicy Ketchup Dip (search recipes)

DIRECTIONS
|

Set out a large skillet. Combine in a large bowl ground beef, egg, milk, bread crumbs, minced onion, minced parsley, and toasted
walnuts. Add a blend of chili con carne seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss with a fork until thoroughly mixed. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.

Heat cooking oil in the skillet.

Add meat balls to hot oil and brown them on all sides over medium heat, shaking skillet occasionally to keep meat balls as round as possible. When balls are cooked to desired
doneness, remove them from skillet and keep warm until ready to serve.

To serve, dip warm balls in Spicy Ketchup Dip
and in finely chopped toasted walnuts.
